"this comes as a small folded binder. you open it and your left side has a flap with the booklet of her teaching you how to tangle. the right side are tear out pages of tangles that you can do. the first pages are some you can color or add a little to them, then there are tangles that you can actually do after she started the framework for you, and then some you can actually do or start on your own with simple framework.
i didn't think they would be tear out pages because i would like to keep my work instead of tearing them out and then losing them. i like to keep my work in a book for record keeping. but i guess i could make a book out of them myself or put them in a journal."

- I bought this for a gift for my sister and if I didn't love her so much, I'd keep it! It has lots of different things in it --- pages to color, to add your Zentangling to, and also some "how to" pages. It's 3 or 4 books in one! She'll love it!!
So I showed this to a local artist who teaches Zentangle and she was delighted with it. i didn't think they would be tear out pages because i would like to keep my work instead of tearing them out and then losing them. i like to keep my work in a book for record keeping. but i guess i could make a book out of them myself or put them in a journal. - I wanted a book that wasn't too large so my mom could take this with her when she had to sit and wait in a doctor's office or the hospital. Perfect for just that. Love all the "strings" in the book where you can either continue her theme or do one of your own. Lots of ideas and will give my mom hours of enjoyment. Well worth the price. Really like this author.
- Not at all what was expected. The "look inside" feature only shows a small instruction piece of the book. This instruction booklet is quite small. It resembles a scratch pad on the inside of the book. The remainder of the book is coloring pages. I suppose you could add tangles but not a fan of already drawn artwork.
- Small enough to fit in my purse and use while I am waiting my turn at various appointments. I shared these with others in the class I was attending. Many in the class took a page and enjoyed themselves while coloring and/or tangling in class or at home.
- Has a good mix of printed artwork to color, partially completed artwork to finish and lots of pages to add your own tangle patterns.
- Simple and nice activity for children and adults to draw and learn.
- Interesting book - fun designs and compact pages you can take along to doodle/tangle while in a waiting room on a trip.
